Naughty Blogger

I have been a naughty blogger. I have not come here much. That is what happens when you are busy filming. I have shot a lot of the 3D sequel for Slashers Gone Wild. The weather is now getting cold and I am debating wether I should use green screen to finish some scenes, or wait until spring when the weather is warm. Choices...hmmmm....
  I have also uploaded a movie that I shot 14 years ago. It is called Scream for Christmas. You can watch it on youtube. It is a horror comedy and it is also a prequel to Slashers Gone Wild. It predates After Effects so it has some super cheesy CGI effects. It also has some real cool practical gore effects. It up on the internet for free, so go check it out. Some of the characters may make their way into the upcoming sequel for Slashers Gone Wild. They for sure will be in future sequels and perhaps even movies of their own.

First post!

It took me a bit to figure this out, but here I am making a first entry into what may be considered an epic footnote in horror film history. This is your humble host Rob Avery.  Prepping to shoot some more footage once the trees are finished turning green and the weather gets warmer. Ah, the lovely state of Ohio, where the weather is seriously unpredictable and fucked up. God bless the invention of Green Screen! I wonder if my roommate would freak out if I painted his walls a new color?
